In therapy with me, you will answer two basic questions: What do you want your life to look like? What needs to change for that to happen? 

It’s hard to feel motivated when all we see is what we don’t like. Many clients arrive as perfectionists with rigid standards that suck the joy out of life. In therapy, folks learn self-compassion, improve self-esteem, and acknowledge strengths.

I see folks who have done trauma processing in the past but who now realize that there is another layer to work through in order to truly thrive.

Maybe you have a difficult relationship with one or both parents and feel like you’re stuck in a hopeless dynamic. You wonder if you’re doomed to repeat those patterns in your relationships. We can talk about that. Or we can talk about that in couples therapy with your partner. 

I am a straight, cisgender woman who is LGBTQ+ affirming. Many clients have experienced religious trauma, which is one of my specialties, as is cult recovery.

My education focused on disability justice. In my practice that looks like welcoming those who identify as neurodivergent (including those who have self-diagnosed). 

I work with individual adults and couples online. Currently, my availability is Wednesdays from late morning through the evening with occasional other openings. I do not accept insurance but can offer you a superbill for insurance reimbursement. 

I have been in the mental health field since 2018. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oregon and earned a Master of Science degree in Counselor Education from Portland State University.

My approach to therapy includes narrative therapy, existential therapy, humanistic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I’m Influenced by Carl Jung, which means we might talk about dreams and archetypes. My goal is to support your journey to optimal health whatever that looks like.
